Williams, Who Is Dating 51-Year-Old Yolanda And Claims To Be A 40-Year-Old Caucasian Man Owning A Restaurant, Is Revealed To Be A Young Nigerian Man Named Uche Gucheano Ibeh.
“90 Day Fiance: Beyond the 90 Days” star Yolanda has apparently fallen victim to catfishing. The 51-year-old widow, whose love story with someone she met online is being captured on camera for the TLC series, is dating a British man named Williams, who doesn’t actually exist.
Yolanda and Williams hit it off after he slid into her DMs. He claims to be a restaurant owner from Manchester. “My boyfriend Williams is from Manchester, England, and he’s 40 years old. He’s a restaurant manager, and he’s just simply gorgeous,” Yolanda explained in the season premiere of the show.
After weeks of talking, Williams sent the mother of six photos of himself. The pictures show a handsome and muscular Caucasian man. However, they never had a video chat as Williams claims that his camera is broken. The two regularly communicate, sometimes up to five times a day via both text messages and phone calls.
But after some digging, fans have found evidence that reveals Williams may not be the person he claims to be. Internet users pointed out that the pictures Williams sent to Yolanda are actually of a male model named Michele Di Lucchio. Michele’s reps tell MTO News that he’s not dating Yolanda.
It’s then revealed that Williams is actually a very young Nigerian man named Uche Gucheano Ibeh, who describes himself as an “entertainer” in his Instagram bio. While this expose has not been shown on “90 Day Fiance: Beyond the 90 Days”, MTO News reports that Yolanda has broken up with the guy named Williams, after realizing she was being scammed.
Williams allegedly asked her for money in the form of cash cards. The business owner from Las Vegas, Nevada might be addressing this in her Facebook page back in July 2019 as she wrote, “Women, Ladies & I guess Men too… Don’t You HATE when a DM slide in & Start a nice friendship, talking NICELY FOR DAYS or MORE….. Then it GO SOUTH QUICKLY when he finally he POPS THE ?.. ‘CAN U GET ME A GIFT CARD!!’ #lames WASTED TIME…”
Viewers had been suspicious of Williams’ identity as they noticed that his “British accent” sounds weird. “He didn’t have British accent, let alone a Manchester accent,” one Reddit user commented. Yolanda’s daughter Kara also expressed her concern as saying, “I’m happy for my mom, but I just want to protect her and know if this guy is really truthful.”
